Hi everyone! I'll squeeze 50 years into 2,000 words as best as I can: I skipped my senior year and graduated in August '69, but I've always felt like the Class of '70 were "my people" after all the years we spent together! I got my BA from the University of Louisville and later, my MA from Webster University. The majority of my career was in the insurance industry. I took early retirement to care for my parents before they passed away.
After they died, I decided to pursue my passion for art. I paint mainly in oils, as well as other media, and taught art to children and adults. I am married to Mark Stephens (Class of '69) and we will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in November. I have 3 wonderful step-sons and their spouses and a beautiful 21/2 year old granddaughter, Oakley. Mark and I have lived on the gulf coast of southern Florida for several years now and we love it here. We also love to travel both visiting other countries and our family and friends in Louisville. All in all we're healthy enough and are just enjoying life!
